Troubleshooting: Entering License Key

If you're having trouble entering your license key and activating Semplice, please check the common issues and their solutions here.

Your license key is either empty or not valid.
If you get this error, please double check that you're using the correct key, including dashes. The key format should be XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.

Also check that you are using the proper license selection from the Select License dropdown.


Semplice does not accept license and the license indicator stays a red x.
If you do not get any kind of error, but your license key is not accepted, please contact your webhost to see if they are blocking external connections. If they are, they will need to add http://update.semplice.com to the list of safe connections.
