Troubleshooting: Content Not Saving

Last Updated: Sep 18, 2017
If your content doesn't seem to be saving, please follow the steps here:

1. If your content saves in the editor, but you don't see the changes reflected on your page, make sure you are Publishing the changes. If you have unpublished changed, a yellow circle will appear next to Publish in the content editor. When you click Publish it will look like this:

2. If you content is not saving within the Content Editor or the front end: Do you have a caching plugin installed? If so, deactivate it and clear your browser cache. Check to see if you can make changes and save them now.

3. If you save your content but your edit page (and frontend page) is still empty after you click on the page / project again the most likely cause is that our database import on theme activation in WordPress did not went well. Please try to switch to a default WordPress theme and then switch back to Semplice to re-initialize the database import.

4. If neither of these are the issue, please email help@semplice.com with your Wordpress URL, login (username and password), and which page(s) this is happening on so we can take a look at what the issue may be.
