Your Semplice site is automatically responsive. But sometimes you want a specific headline or line of text to match desktop exactly, rather than adjust or break lines to fit mobile.
With the Semplice 6 Fluid Type module, you can do so.
Please note: This feature is only available in Semplice 6. If you're on an older version of Semplice, you can upgrade here.
Where to find Fluid Type Module
You can find Fluid Type by clicking on the "Modules" option at the top of the Content Editor bar within your page or project. Simply drag & drop the module onto your page to start using it.
How to use the Module
1. Start by adding your text or headline. Now adjust your basic styling (the typeface, letter spacing etc.) to your liking.
2. Go ahead and set the MIN (minimum) and MAX (maximum) font size. This will ensure your text doesn't become too small or too big on different screens.
3. Now, increase the "Fluid" value until the Calculated Size (appearing in the tooltip) matches the value of MAX font size we set earlier.
This determines how your text will automatically adapt for each breakpoint.
4. Finally, you can see how your text adapts across different breakpoints by using the slider. If you'd like to adjust something for a specific breakpoint, you can do so.
And you're done! Now your text or headline will fluidly adapt to different breakpoints to match your desktop design exactly.
