If your license key isn't accepted in Semplice or you receive an error, please review the possible reasons here to resolve the issue.
Is your your license key & formatting correct?
If you get an "license not valid" error, please double check that you're using the correct key, including dashes. The key format should be XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX.
Did you select the right dropdown option?
Make sure you are selecting the proper license key from the dropdown. If you upgraded your Studio license from a Single license, you should select "Studio License (Upgrade from Single)" option instead of "Studio license."
Is your key activated elsewhere?
Make sure you do not have the same license active on another domain. If you do, you will need to deactivate it on the other domain before activating on a new one.
Is your host blocking the connection?
If you see a red X but don't see any kind of error, please contact your web host to see if they are blocking external connections. If they are, they will need to add http://update.semplice.com to the list of safe connections.
