Semplice is based on a 12 column grid system, which means you can arrange your site design and elements within 12 columns.
By default, the 12 column grid is 1170px wide with a 30px gutter, but you can customize it to anything bigger than 1170px wide and any gutter value.
To do this, simply navigate to Customize > Grid and adjust the value in the editor popup under Options.
