Master blocks
With Master Blocks, any changes you make to a block will be reflected everywhere you use it. This makes updating same content on multiple pages easy.
Create a master block
You can create a master block in seconds. Once you are happy with your design and want to save it as a master block, do the following:
- Click on the section you want to save as master block.
Note: It's only possible to save sections as a block, not single content or columns. - Click on the + icon on the bottom of editor pop-up.
- Give your custom block a name.
- Select Master block and hit save.
You master block then will appear in the blocks panel, with the label 'Master'.
Now, your masterblock is ready to be used on any page on your website. If you edit this master block on any page of your site, all the blocks will be updated.
Static blocks
You can save a section as regular static block and re-use them everywhere. Only difference is that if you modify a static block on a page, the other blocks will not get updated. This way, you can easily create a static block as a template and change the content for other pages, while keeping the format.
