In Semplice 5 you can add and style your captions to the images with a couple of clicks!
Add captions in Gallery Slider
Drag and drop the "Gallery Slider" module to the place where you would like to show it. Click on the module to open the settings. Select your images in the "Image" field.
In the "Module" tab find the "Caption" option, set the "Visibility" to "Show".
Now you can style caption by changing the color, font-size, font-family, or show it uppercase.
To write your caption hover over the image in the module settings and click the pencil icon. In the Media Library, you will see the setting for the image you have selected. In the "Caption" field write your image description:
Click "Save" and then "Publish" your changes. Now when you preview your page you will see your caption bellow your image:
Add captions in Gallery Grid
The steps for the "Gallery Grid" module are similar to the "Gallery Slider" module, except that in this module you can show Title and Description. Before styling your captions go through the images you would like to use in the grid and write your titles and descriptions.
In the module settings set "Title & Caption Visibility" to "Show both title and caption" (you are free to choose the option you would like to use):
You can change distance and text alignment by changing the "Position" and "Padding" settings. Now, with the "Title Formatting" and "Caption Formatting" options you can style color, font-size, font-family, or show them uppercase.
With the "Motion" option you can animate your description when you mouseover over the text. You can change your color, or add shadow.
Click the "Refresh Grid" button to see how it looks.
